Keeping your account secure protects your projects, data, and teammates. The app provides several tools to help you control who can access your account and from where.

Change your password

1

Open Security settings

Go to Settings → Security, or click your avatar → SettingsSecurity.
2

Click 'Change Password'

Enter your current password, then type and confirm your new password.
3

Save

Click Update Password. You’ll receive a confirmation email.
Password requirements:
  • Minimum 8 characters
  • At least one uppercase letter
  • At least one number or special character (!@#$%^&* etc.)
Use a password manager to generate and store a strong, unique password for this account.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of protection. Even if someone learns your password, they can’t log in without your second factor.

Enable 2FA

1

Go to Settings → Security

Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
2

Scan the QR code

Open your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, or similar) and scan the QR code displayed.
3

Enter the verification code

Type the 6-digit code from your authenticator app to confirm setup.
4

Save your backup codes

Download and store your backup codes somewhere safe. You’ll need these if you lose access to your authenticator app.

Disable 2FA

Go to Settings → Security → Two-Factor Authentication and click Disable. You’ll need to enter a current 2FA code or a backup code to confirm.
Disabling 2FA reduces your account security. Only do this if you’re switching to a new authentication method.

Active sessions

The app tracks all active login sessions. To review them:
  1. Go to Settings → Security → Active Sessions.
  2. Review the list of devices and locations.
  3. Click Revoke next to any session you don’t recognize.
  4. Click Revoke all other sessions to sign out of all devices except your current one.

Suspicious activity

If you notice unexpected logins, items you didn’t create, or other unusual behavior:
  1. Immediately change your password.
  2. Revoke all other active sessions.
  3. Review your email address and recovery options for unauthorized changes.
  4. Contact support and describe what you observed.

Account recovery

If you’re locked out of your account:
  • Forgot password — Click Forgot Password on the login page and follow the email instructions.
  • Lost 2FA device — Use one of your backup codes on the 2FA prompt screen. If you’ve lost those too, contact support.
