Notifications keep you informed about what’s happening in your workspace — new comments, status changes, upcoming deadlines, and more. This guide explains how to view notifications and fine-tune them so you only get alerted about what matters to you.

Viewing notifications

Click the bell icon in the top bar to open the notifications panel. Here you’ll see:
  • Unread — New alerts you haven’t seen yet, highlighted in bold
  • All — Your full notification history
Click any notification to jump directly to the relevant item, comment, or project.

Notification types

The app can notify you about a range of events:

Configuring notification preferences

You can choose which events notify you and whether those alerts arrive in-app, by email, or as push notifications. Follow these steps to update your preferences:
1

Open Settings

Click your avatar in the top-right corner and select Settings, or press G then S.
2

Go to Notifications

In the settings sidebar, click Notifications.
3

Choose your channels

For each notification type, choose whether to receive it In-app, By email, or As a push notification. You can toggle each channel independently.
4

Set a schedule (optional)

Under Notification Schedule, set the hours during which you want to receive notifications. Alerts outside those hours are held and delivered when your schedule resumes.

Email digests

Instead of individual email notifications, you can switch to a daily digest that summarizes all your activity in a single email. To enable it:
  1. Go to Settings → Notifications → Email.
  2. Toggle Daily Digest on.
  3. Choose your preferred delivery time.

Muting a project or item

If you’re added to a busy project and don’t want constant updates, you can mute it:
  • Mute a project — Right-click the project in the sidebar and select Mute notifications.
  • Mute an item — Open the item, click the three-dot menu, and select Mute.
You can still view the item and project normally when muted — you just won’t receive notifications about them.

Clearing notifications

To clear all notifications at once, open the notifications panel and click Mark all as read at the top right.
